Thank you for checking us out and for considering some of our great Bull Dogs. These are NOT English Bulldogs; The Olde English is a re-creation of the classic bulldog of the 1700-1800’s. Back then when bull-baiting was legal the bulldogs were bigger, more stout and healthier. After the ban of bull-baiting, the bulldog became sized down and mixed with Pugs, bringing about the flat face and curly tails. It took a couple hundred years, but now you see what they turned the bulldog into, a health ridden dog that averages a low life span and cannot handle any basic activities that a family pet should be able to. The English Bulldogs have many health problems and require artificial insemination and c-section birthing, which makes them cost much more. The Olde English Bulldogge is a breed that is one in a million. Instead of developing the breed for a specific look, color pattern or size, it was developed for health, ability and temperament. It was bred to better an existing breed and this goal has been accomplished with great results and generations of healthy canine to prove it. We have found, and most breeders agree, that Olde English Bulldogges take about 18-24 months to mature, fill out and get that real " bulldogge " look.
